AN AMAZING PLACE
“We stayed a couple of nights with another couple (we had the studio cabin and they had the luxury suite) and spent most of our days by the dock. They have a nice dock with some chairs and an umbrella and tons of goodies. We made full use of the paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, and snorkels. They also have a nice big propane barbecue that was perfect, and if you’ve got a hankering for pizza they’ve even got a pizza oven you can use.”

“My partner and I spent three nights at Tranquility Bay in November and had a wonderful time. We stayed in Luxury suite, which was very comfortable, and especially enjoyed the in-room pool table! The location is absolutely beautiful, just steps from a private beach, with a dock and a hot tub with ocean views. There are lots of hiking trails nearby, as well. A perfect place to “escape”. We will be back!”
PURE BLISS AND RNR
” The Tree House Cottage (separate property from Tranquility Bay) is an exceptional piece of property and just what was needed to relax and rejuvenate; my stay was pure RnR. It was a spectacular 4 night mid-week stay.
There are some stairs to climb to reach the Tree House. Enroute to the Cottage you cross over a bridge, pass a large fire pit, beautiful plants and shrubs, climb some stairs, get teased by the waiting hot tub, view the private fire pit, and then you reach the Cottage deck.
Inside the cozy Cottage you will find a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker; the loft has a queen bed with 2 sky lights, the main floor bedroom has a queen bed as well; the bathroom has a beautiful soaker tub, rainfall shower and heated floor; a fully stocked wood burning fireplace, cable TV, etc.
I appreciated that there are a couple of restaurants that deliver to the Tree House.
I took full advantage of the hot tub, the huge wooden swing on the front deck for afternoon naps, and the indoor fireplace to start and end the day.Staff are very accommodating and helpful.
It’s a warm and cozy cottage, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the forest. I will be back and will continue to recommend it to everyone.”

“We came for our honeymoon for seven nights! There are lots of spots to enjoy the view. Take advantage of the paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes available, there is so much life in the ocean, paddle to one of the islands out front and check out all of the different sea life. We stayed in the Luxury Suite and it was truly unbelievable, it was so spacious and we had lots of fun playing pool and blackjack and roulette. Everything was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better time!”
WILDLIFE: EAGLES, SEALS...
“There are steps down to the ocean at Tranquility Bay Waterfront Inn dating from 1920 when this site was selected by the local entrepreneur as a steamship destination for families from Vancouver.
The spot was particularly selected as it gets the very last moments of Summer Sunset, the Inn is bathed in golden sunlight up to 90 minutes after many other vacation spots are in darkness. Today the Inn remains remote at the very end of Sechelt Inlet Road.
In Winter the only lights around are at the Inn, with dark skies sparkling with stars. The spot is popular with wildlife; a pair of Eagles nest in the islet opposite, seals often bathes on the rocks. Guests using the in-room binoculars can often spot 20 to 30 bird species in a two-night visit. All the natural wonders of wilderness available from the warm luxury of your suite along with premium channel cable and high-speed internet.”

THE BEST PLACE WE STAYED IN CANADA
“What a stunning place to stay we never got tired of the view. The hosts couldn’t have done more to make us welcome. We had stayed in 5 other good AirB&Bs across Canada but this place is special.”

“I hesitated to give a review because I like the fact that it is a secret. But I wanted to share this wonderful place to visit. We had a great time. The view, hot tub, fantastic room with everything we could want and more. I highly recommend this gem. It’s a wonderful little hide-away and we will be back.”
RELAXING GETAWAY
“We stayed for two nights in January in Ocean View Luxury Suite and we had a fantastic stay. The room was beautiful and had lots of lovely luxury touches…. a lovely mattress and linens, nice toiletries, wonderful welcome basket. The bathroom in the suite is huge with a lovely soaker tub and big shower, and they provided bath robes. There was a mini fridge, microwave, Kurig coffee pot as well as a kettle (which always makes me happy!) and a few dishes. We took advantage of the awesome hot tub just down the steps from our suite.
We lucked out with great weather for our weekend away and took advantage of some nearby hiking trails (Hidden Grove). We spent a bit of time exploring Sechelt and took advantage of some amazing seasonal sales at the local boutique stores, and went for a float at Sunshine Float. Highly recommend the Bakery for baked goods… loved the scones! The Inn was pretty small and quite a distance from town but that just added to its charm.
We spent a little time on the deck and it was spectacular. We saw river otters and seals and SO many birds…. the inlet is so calm and peaceful. It was the wrong season for kayaking and surfing so we’ll have to go back again in the summer!
